FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What is your Return Policy?
A. Because of the uniqueness of the dress and suit industry we must have a no return or exchange policy. If a dress or suit is damaged or ruined during shipping contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve the problem. All other situations are a final sale.

Q. When is my credit card charged?
A. Your card is not charged until we can fulfill your order with a confirmed ship date that is before your wear date.

Q. How do I find the correct size?
A. Keep in mind that over 90% of special occasion dresses and suits need alterations. We are not responsible for dresses that do not fit, those size charts are direct from the manufacturers and they cut their dresses according to those size measurements. If you are in between sizes we recommend going up a size as it's easier to take a dress in than let a dress out.

Q. What if I want a dress or suit in a color that is not listed?
A. The colors that we list on the product detail page are the only colors in which that style dress or suit is produced in.

Q. Do you rent dresses and suits?
A. No, we do not have any dresses or suits available to rent.

Q. Do you buy back dresses and suits?
A. No, we do not buy back dresses or suits.

Q. How do I check the availability and delivery time?
A. Since there are so many orders coming through at all times we are not able to accurately check availability of a dress or suit until there is an order placed for it.

Q. I saw an item that I wanted and now I can't find it?
A. When an item no longer has stock and is discontinued by the manufacturer, it is taken off of the website since it is no longer available for purchase.

Q. Do you have additional images?
A. All of the available images that we have been given are shown on the webpage. We know that it can be frustrating not seeing the dress in other colors, but we are given the images directly from the manufacturers and we don't always receive one in every color that they offer.

Q. Why haven't you responded to my email?
A. With the high volume of emails received during prom season it can take 24-72 hours for a response. Also please make sure that you have added our email address to your list of addresses to accept emails from, our response could have been placed in your junk folder if we are not on that list.

Q. Why was my credit card declined?
A. There are a few reasons that your credit card would be declined: the numbers could have been typed incorrectly, your bank might have a limit on purchase totals, or there could be a security feature on your card not allowing it to be used out of your state or country.

Q. When should I start shopping for my prom dress or suit?
A. It is never too early to start shopping for your prom dress or suit. We have all of our new lines for the current year starting in November. We suggest shopping early to ensure availability of your favorite dress!

Q. What if my billing and shipping addresses are different?
A. This can delay the process of your order and your order will need to go to our fraud protection department and more information from the customer is usually needed to be able to proceed.

 Q. What should I bring to my appointment?
A. Bring pictures of dresses, or suits you’ve seen on our website, and in magazines or that you’ve tried on elsewhere. And bring an open mind: don’t be surprised if you find “the dress” or “suit” on your first visit to Fashionably Unpredictable.

Q. May I take pictures of the gowns while I try them on?
A. We do not allow cameras in the fitting rooms while you are shopping. Once you have purchased a dress, or suit you may take as many pictures as you’d like.

Q.What is the difference between Custom made and Made-to- measure?
A. Custom-made refers to a garment that is made from a pattern that is created for your body measurements and is not based on a pre-existing pattern. A made-to-measure garment on the other hand refers to a garment that is made with your body measurements but the pattern has already been created based on a fit model ( not you). That pre-existing pattern is altered to accommodate your measurements.

Q. Price / payment of custom dresses and tailored suits
A. Prices will vary based on your personal fabric selection and complexity of your design. Payment will be addressed at your consultation. We require a 50% deposit and accept all major credit cards.
